“Unfinished is useful when people can still influence it.”

What the pilot is

Unfinished.
On Purpose.

A small group uses real software before Kyndlore opens more broadly. The point is to find what breaks while the team can still respond quickly.

01

Real software

Not a survey about an imaginary product.

Selected participants receive the first working version and use it through the behaviors their cohort is there to test.

02

Real friction

Missing and confusing parts are expected.

Some workflows will be incomplete. Some decisions will be wrong. Reporting that honestly is part of the pilot, not a failure of it.

03

Real influence

Feedback should leave fingerprints.

The founding cohort helps the team prioritize, revise, and sometimes remove ideas before the product hardens around them.

Applications Are Open. Access Is By Invitation.

The first product wave is capped at 50 accepted invitations across readers, creators, and literary organizations. We are building a balanced working room, not a first-come, first-served signup list.

01

Named invitations

Every place belongs to one accepted participant.

02

Fifty maximum

The first wave may be smaller, but it will not be larger.

03

Active members

Founding status comes with real use and honest feedback.

The participation rhythm

Not A Badge You Collect. A Beginning You Help Build.

01

Complete your profile, shelf, catalog, or organization page.

02

Use assigned features every week during the testing window.

03

Make at least two meaningful posts, replies, recommendations, or updates each month.

04

Report friction honestly and complete one short monthly check-in.

Public posting about Kyndlore is encouraged, never required. Honest criticism does not put a member's place at risk.

Kyndlore brand mark

Included after acceptance

Your Founding Member Social Kit.

Selected members receive ready-to-post graphics, captions, alt text, and a clear way to announce the invitation without having to design anything themselves.

The clean files are delivered with an accepted invitation. Public access to the graphics is intentionally withheld so the badge cannot be claimed before selection.

Choose your testing path

Three Doorways. One Learning Loop.

Every cohort tests a different part of Kyndlore. The strongest pilot learns from the experience of people using the platform in genuinely different ways.

Pilot cohort

The pilot needs perspective, not polish.

You are applying as a Founding Reader

Build a real reading life inside the first version.

Test discovery, shelves, book pages, communities, book clubs, events, and the mobile experience as you would actually use them.

Expected commitment

A couple of hours each month

Testing assignments may change as the pilot scope is finalized.

The participation exchange

Time For Influence.
Access For Honesty.

Participation is free and unpaid. The exchange is a modest testing commitment for early access, direct product influence, and a clear account of what changed.

What participants bring

Attention. Context. Candor.

01Complete the first onboarding flow
02Use the workflows assigned to your cohort
03Report bugs and confusing experiences
04Answer short surveys when you can
05Give honest feedback, including the unflattering kind

What Kyndlore returns

Access. Voice. Evidence.

01Early access to the first version
02A direct line into product development
03Private previews of work in progress
04Founding participant recognition
05Updates showing what participant feedback changed
Application to iteration

The Pilot Is A Closed Loop.

Participation should not disappear into a research report. The process begins with a perspective and ends by showing what the team changed.
